Very clean hotel throughout. Nice and cozy rooms. Service is excellent! Short walk to the Old Town square. Loved my stay and recommend it for anyone looking for a nice hotel.
Good place. Near center and the old city. The rooms are clean.
Everything was great at this hotel, the only negative side was they don't change much the towel... but I guess it is a american standard versus european standard.
Excellent huge breakfast buffet and helpful reception staff
Internet did not work first night, which was a problem because of things I had to do relying on it.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made our visit very pleasant. We enjoyed our room and breakfasts. We also enjoyed tea in our room at night. The staff made bookings for our trips to the country and arranged for us to be collected from Hastal Hotel which was very convenient.
The shower did not work properly.
The Hotel Hastal was just a few blocks from the city square of Old Town. Their buffet breakfast had a nice variety of food. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant twice and enjoyed our meals.
They need to replace the carpeting in the rooms. It's old and stained. Could also use some redecorating as the furnishings were a bit shabby. Our friend stayed in a "single" room and had a small bed ~ what we call a "twin" in the U.S.A.
Have now stayed twice at this hotel and really rate it. We always book the comfort rooms as you get a lovely view of the church. Central for al site seeing. The restaurant and bar are good value for money and the staff are reall helpful. Breakfast is included and in our experience of hotelsa in europe it is good valur for money. Thomas who was on reception was really helpful in booking taxis for us and we even was given a medal as a keepsake of our stay.
I expected it to be a basic, bed and breakfast place. I spent time touring Praha and needed a place to relax. The room for 100$ seemed slightly smaller than my expectations. The hotel rooms do not have an interesting view. However the location is simply fantastic. One can walk down to Old Town Square in about 5 minutes. Malls E.G. Billa are at the same distance. The staff is extremly helpful and warm.
Room was way too small. Almost felt claustrophobic. Choose it if you are the backpackers types.
Very accommodating front staff, Thanks Eva. Great breakfast, Great location. Free wifi in rooms. Affordable rates.
Staff was very helpful. This would be considered a small intimate kind of place , like a big family...Location for our purposes was perfect.Close to everything, both modern and historic.
Lighting in rooms could have been better. Air conditioner could not be controlled in the room..
Hotel was only a short walk to the clock tower, main square and Charles Bridge. Shops and eateries were in abundance within a very short walking distance. Forgot to request a double bed when booking so had two single beds pushed together, still it was very comfortable.
We found the Hotel Staff very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with en suite facilities for a reasonable price. The location of the hotel was excellent. Just 7 minutes walk from the Old Town Square, 10 minutes walk from the Jewish Quarter and 15 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge. We enjoyed the good continental breakfast included in our room rate and also had an enjoyable lunch on our last day. The hotel is in easy walking distance from many good restaurants. We also went to 2 very good concerts, all within a short walk of the hotel. We will be recommending it to our friends.
We didn't find anything not to like about the hotel
Near the city centre
The rooms thoiugh fairly large . very bare , could have been madeto look inviting without losing its old world charm
The staff was very frendly and open.
Fore shure this is not 4 stars hotel.I have stayed 4 nights toghetere with my wife and doring this period the towles where never been changed.
The Dinner at the hotel on our first night was well cooked but they had run out of Goulash! Which led us to find they could cook Steak and Pork equally well. The hotel was clean and warm with plenty of staff when you needed them.
You need to avoid breakfast at 8:45 / 9:15 as it got crowded every day.
